We have a choice of five centres based in and around London, and our primary aim is to provide the best possible hearing for our patients through ongoing support and after care. This enables our patients to continue hearing well throughout their lives.
There are estimated to be approximately 9 million deaf and hard of hearing people in the UK. Most people develop hearing loss with age and it is estimated that 55% of people over the age of 60 are deaf or hard of hearing. Hearing Aids are now an affordable solutions for many.
Other causes of hearing loss can include: noise exposure, hereditary conditions, genetics, ototoxic drugs, trauma, infections, viruses and excessive wax.
Of the 9 million people in the UK who have a hearing loss, about 4 million do not use hearing instruments. These individuals experience significant hearing difficulties in everyday life and could greatly improve their quality of life with the use of hearing instruments.
